We hope everyone had a fun March break. We are looking forward to a rewarding academically challenging spring. We have some fun events planned this month.
March Important Dates
Mar. 10- Monday – First day back from March break.
Mar. 11- Tuesday Morning – Field Trip – Our field trip that was postponed from February will be today. Thanks to the GrandBay Primary PALS sponsor we will be going to Rockwood Park for a field trip! Students will be making a bird feeder, playing games and climbing the indoor rock wall. This event is rain or shine. Each student will be bringing their bookbag to hold their sneakers and recess snack. Please pack a drink and easy snack for your child that day. We will be back at the school by lunch time. Any parent that would like to join us are invited. Contact the school secretary to submit your name. Thank you to those who have already volunteered. We appreciate your time.
Mar. 14- Friday night – Home & School Movie at Inglewood school.
Mar. 17-Mar. 21 – Wellness Week. Our class will be having wellness week! We have a fun activity planned each day for the students to enjoy. Some of the activities planned are fruit and vegetable trays, relaxation meditation, snow sculptures, smoothies, salad day, introduction to yoga, and yogurt parfaits! This will be a very enjoyable week for the students and provide some great writing inspiration!
Mar. 21 – Friday night- Spring Fling Dance at RVMS hosted by the PSSC. Information to follow.
Mar. 24 – Monday – Report Cards go home.
Mar. 26- Wednesday evening – Parent Teacher Meetings. There will be a Scholastic Book Fair during all Parent Teacher Meetings this week at Inglewood School. Everyone welcome attend.
Mar. 28- Friday – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS – Teachers have professional development meetings in the morning and Parent Teacher meetings in the afternoon.
Note: This time of year makes for very wet mittens at recess and lunch. Please pack an extra pair for your child in their book bag. Often they do not have time to dry between recess and lunch. Thanks!
