You will see a change in your child’s homework starting in May. Instead of the weekly math sheets we will be having a Paragraph of the Week writing assignment. It will be sent home on Monday and returned on Friday as usual and students will continue to read each evening as well. Everything will be clearly explained on the handout.
Do you know how to play cribbage? We are looking at having a math enrichment program for our classroom. We are hoping to have volunteers visit our classroom for 45 minutes one afternoon a week for a couple weeks. Cribbage is a fun way for students to practice their counting skills. If you or maybe a grandparent knows how to play cribbage and is able to volunteer your time we would love to hear from you!
